PROFILE OF PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS OF CROSS-INTEREST STUDENTS IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract
Problem-solving skills are important skills in physics. However, according to some researchers, Indonesian students' problem-solving skills in physics learning are categorized as low. This study aims to identify the profile of problem-solving skills of students who follow the cross-interest program of physics. The subject of research is high school students majoring in social science. The type of this research is descriptive research. Data for analyzing problem-solving skills were obtained through student questionnaires and test results with impulse and momentum materials. From the results of the descriptive analysis, the average percentage of students' problem-solving skills based on questionnaires and tests, respectively was 58.57% and 54.61%. These results indicate that student problem-solving skills are categorized as low.
