Abstract

. The use of cooperative teaching model is able to create right interaction between teacher and students, so it can increase students’ learning achievement. Group investigation (GI) and numbered head together (NHT) are defined as a teaching model which divide the students into small heterogeneous grouping in which its process emphasize students’ cooperation and give chance for the students to give their own idea for considering the appropriate answer. The aims of this research are to investigate the effect of GI teaching model with realistic mathematic approach (RMA), NHT teaching model with RMA, students’ adversity quotient (AQ), and the interaction of each teaching model with students’ AQ toward mathematic learning achievement. This research is quasi experimental research with factorial design 2x2. The population of this research is students of  junior high school 26 in academic year 2016/2017. There are 60 students as sample in this research. Mathematic test and questionnaire to measure students’ AQ are used as the instrument in this research. The hypothesis which is proposed by the researcher is analyzed by using analysis variant with different cell. The results of this research are: (1) NHT-RMA teaching model delivers students’ learning outcome which is better than GI-RMA, (2) the students who are taught by using GI-RMA teaching model delivers different achievement in every AQ level, (3) not all off the student who are taught by using NHT-RMA teaching model delivers different achievement in every AQ level.
