THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MOODLE-BASED E-MODULE USING CONTEXTUAL TEACHING LEARNING MODEL FOR THE 10TH GRADERS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN SRAGEN REGENCY

Abstract


Abstract. The objective of research was to find out the development of a Moodle-based E-module using CTL model in the main material of basic geographic knowledge in several Senior High Schools in Sragen Regency. This study was a research and development (R&D) using ADDIE development model modified into three stages: Analysis, Design, Development. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, questionnaire and documentation. The result of research in analysis stage based on the need questionnaire distributed to 90 10th graders of Senior High School in Sragen showed that 85.6% of students need e-module media. In design stage, e-module was developed using moodle software equipped with the application supporting the students’ learning activity with CTL method, and in learning process assignment feature will help. In development stage, e-module was equipped with animation, picture, video, and evaluation question. In small-scale trial, the students can analyze and follow e-module in learning in the classroom. From validation conducted by media expert, material expert and geographic teacher showed mean score of 80.56% belonged to feasible category. The conclusion of research was that moodle-based e-module with CTL model was feasible to use as teaching media in basic geographic knowledge material.
