Abstract. The objective of research was to find out the development of a Moodle-based E-module using CTL model in the main material of basic geographic knowledge in several Senior High Schools in Sragen Regency. This study was a research and development (R&D) using ADDIE development model modified into three stages: Analysis, Design, Development. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, questionnaire and documentation. The result of research in analysis stage based on the need questionnaire distributed to 90 10^th graders of Senior High School in Sragen showed that 85.6% of students need e-module media. In design stage, e-module was developed using moodle software equipped with the application supporting the students’ learning activity with CTL method, and in learning process assignment feature will help. In development stage, e-module was equipped with animation, picture, video, and evaluation question. In small-scale trial, the students can analyze and follow e-module in learning in the classroom. From validation conducted by media expert, material expert and geographic teacher showed mean score of 80.56% belonged to feasible category. The conclusion of research was that moodle-based e-module with CTL model was feasible to use as teaching media in basic geographic knowledge material.
