The Feasibility Test of Module Based on Inquiry Based Instructions on Potential Empowerment of Students' Ability to Ask in State High School 1 Madiun

Abstract


The ability to ask becomes one of the important abilities in the 21st century and it is a demand in the application of curriculum 2013 in Indonesia, is the process of scientific approach in the form the process of asking. Based on the observation of students 'ability to ask in State High School 1 Madiun is still low and the teaching materials have not empowered the students' ability to ask. It requires teaching materials in the form of modules to empower the ability to ask. The study aims to test the feasibility of the module based on inquiry based instructions on the potential of empowering students’ ability to ask in State High School 1 Madiun. The research used descriptive method. The module validation used a modified Depdiknas 2006 questionnaire. Data analysis was quantitatively descriptive. The results show the feasibility test: the score of learning tools is 78%, the score of learning materials is 95%, the score of module development is 92% and the score of language is 100%. Based on the criteria of the feasibility test, the average score is 91.25% and it can be concluded that module based on inquiry based instruction on the potential of empowering students’ ability to ask in State High School 1 Madiun is feasible, with improvements and suggestions on each experts and for the next step is doing the effectiveness test.
