Abstract


This study aims to analyze the characteristics of modules developed and to analyze the feasibility of science module based on guided inquiry on environmental management materials for 7th grades junior high school students. This research was research and development study. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, VII A class determined by school as an experimental class. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative-quantitative. The results showed that (1) guided inquiry-based science module has characteristics that contain guided inquiry based learning steps integrated with environmental care indicators at each stage; (2) guided inquiry-based science module are categorized as feasible because they have passed the feasibility test of material experts, media experts and linguists with a very good 3.49 categories, educational practitioners and peers with 3.23 good categories, and through phases product trials and revisions. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that science module on environmental management material in accordance with guided inquiry syntax; with a proper assessment of the validators.
