Abstract
The purpose of this research was to describe the development of electronic multimedia and chemistry laboratory on Senior High School students in East Kalimantan. This was accomplished through descriptive qualitative methods using Five Approach of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The research took data from Senior Secondary State School level. Evaluation results have shown that the designed aspects of multimedia, implementation and language use were orderly rated as 91.82%, 88.33% and 88%. The three rates were categorized as very good, hence it is qualified to be used as instructional media. Conversely, the laboratory design was categorized as fair in the rates of 74,39% for its layout and 66.30% for administrative aspect. Whilst the lab layout and administrative aspects were considered as fair, the laboratory practicum management facilities and materials readiness were very good. To sum up, the use of electronic multimedia and chemistry laboratory increased student’s motivation and cognizance to learning materials.
